The V5 Voyager Duo is a fixed ceiling lift which enables the caregiver to perform safe lifting with less effort during the transfer of patients with reduced mobility. The Voyager Duo has a lifting capacity of 220lb (100kg) and offers an option to change the initial lifting capacity to a higher capacity of 440lb (200kg). Therefore, the Voyager Duo can adapt to the various care requirements either at home or in retirement homes.

The Voyager Duo's new ergonomic handset offers comfortable handling and ease-of-use. An industry standard approved waterproof casing (IPX7), as well as Newly-Designed touch pad, ensure years of reliable use. The new stretch resistant cable, which will retract to its original length, makes the new handset extremely user friendly.

The V5 Voyager Duo hoist is installed on the same Kwiktrak fixed tracking system as the previous V4 model. A video detailing the installation process can be seen below.

There are several track layouts to choose from which are determined by the lifting requirements in the room.

  • Straight Tracking
  • Straight track with 45 or 90 degree bends
  • Room to room track systems
  • XY or H frame tracking system
  • Turntables
  • Y Junction Exchangers
  • Wall Mounting
  • Semi-permanent tracking

Straight tracking is the easiest to install and least expensive means of hoisting, enabling basic lifting of the user from position to position in a straight line. Adding curved sections to the track permits greater room coverage and increased lifting and repositioning flexibility. For full room coverage the XY system is required. This involves two straight sections of track being fixed adjacent to each other on each side of the room with another track joining the two. The XY hoist track system allows full room coverage and is an increasingly popular choice.
