Stairlift Rental
 

Dolphin Mobility charge £700 to rent a stairlift for one year. This up-front fee includes installation, future removal charges, 12 months rental fees and covers the cost of all servicing and breakdowns. Should you wish to rent the stairlift for more than 12 months we would then charge a £50/month rental fee, payable by standing order.

Rental Stairlifts are only available on straight staircases. The costs involved in building a curved rail are prohibitively expensive, meaning that curved stairlift rental is not an option. It may be possible to install a straight rental stairlift if the staircase has just one bend at the top of the stairs.

A straight stairlift is installed with extended legs, so that the footrest stops in line with the landing. A solid wooden platform is then built around the footrest of the lift. This platform can then be used to walk safely onto the landing. This solution is not suitable for everyone and we will only offer it as an option if we feel that it is completely safe to do so.
