25th May 2007 Following the closure of the Independent Life Shop in Ashford, where Dolphin Stairlifts were displaying some equipment, Ian Elford of Dolphin Stairlifts in Kent would like to assure customers that Dolphin Stairlifts(Kent) is still in operation. Following their recent expansion, they have moved offices and warehousing facilities to Stanford, just off the M20 at junction 11.

It is with deep regret that Dolphin Mobility have to announce the passing of our Lincoln Branch Managing Director, Steve Hambrook at the age of 47. Steve was taken ill just three weeks ago, and his sudden death has been a shock to us all. Steve leaves behind his wife Judith and sons Michael and Simon, all of whom have been closely involved with the running of Dolphin in the East Midlands. Everyone at Dolphin would like to thank those who have called and written with their support and kind words, throught the last few weeks.

Steve was a well known character within the industry, a former RAF serviceman, was known by many in the industry during his 15 years at Brooks Stairlifts as their senior technician, helping numerous dealers such as ourselves, as he travelled the country solving problems others couldn't.

In 2000 Steve took the plunge and went into business for himself, as the franchise holder for the Dolphin Stairlifts Group, in the East Midlands. Over the last 5 or 6 years, ably supported by his team including Colin Gill and Gareth Watkinson, Steve has grown Dolphin Mobility East Midlands, into the second largest of the Dolphin Franchises, and has shown everyone how hard work and good customer service can bring great success. It is only sad that he will not now reap the rewards of his endeavours.

Steve will be remembered by us as a great friend, who always had time for others, and normally a witty opinion to share. He had a great verve for life, love of motor cycles, and travel. He will be sadly missed.

Dolphin Mobility Ltd. announces New Minivator Simplicity 950 Series stairlift 2005

Dolphin Mobility Ltd. are pleased to announce the addition of a new economy stairlift to their range. The all new Minivator Simplicity 950 Series was launched to Minivator dealers on 10^th May 2006.

Although priced to be very competitive, Minivator have built a compact and robust stairlift that features constant wireless battery charging, eliminating unnecessary call outs due to user error (not parking the lift properly on the charge points).

The Simplicity 950 is fitted with a manual swivel seat and has a seat to footrest of height of 390mm to 490mm, perfect for most users. Installation of the Simplicity 950 stairlift takes less than 45 minutes in most situations.

For a limited time we are able to supply and install this stairlift for only £1399, provided it is on a staright staircase and there is a nearby power point.

Furthermore, from four (4) simple measurements (see our stairlift price calculator), our engineer will bring a brand new Simplicity 950 stairlift direct to the customer, fit it in less than 45 minutes, and provide complete instruction for safe usage.

If the customer likes the Simplicity 950 and wants to keep it, they simply pay by cheque and the stairlift is theirs.  If not, our engineer will be happy to take it away when he leaves. There is absolutely no obligation whatsoever. The customer need not buy anything.

April 2004 - Dolphin North Franchise

We are delighted to announce that we are now owners of the Dolphin North franchise. Formerly known as Dolphin Stairlifts North we will be trading throughout Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, South and West Yorkshire.
